Jai holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Christ College in Bangalore and a Business degree from London City College, London, United Kingdom. Over the years, he has worked as the Production and Operations Manager with multi-national companies in Bahrain and Dubai. He is currently employed with Lightheaded Lighting in Vancouver and manages the Supply Chain Management team in the company.

Jai has also been on the board of church and non-profit committees over the years and right now is serving on the board of Millenium Relief and Development Services (MRDS Canada). A non-profit organization which is based out of Canada but serves in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe. 

Jai was born in Bahrain and has lived in the middle east for most of his life. Jai his wife Ruth and their 3 daughters moved to Vancouver, BC early this millennium, and has lived and worked in Maple Ridge ever since.

As a family they attend the Christian Life Assemblies church in MR while also taking part in church life groups.

He is interested hiking, travelling and all sports, but most especially cricket, which he follows avidly.
