- Cyriac Joseph grew up in a Catholic settler village in Kannur, Kerala. He graduated from the University of Calicut in 1987 and was actively involved in campus ministries such as Campus Crusade and the Evangelical Union during and after his college years. Following his graduation, he worked as a freelance correspondent with UCANews Asia Pacific and contributed as a writer to Light of Life magazine, published from Mumbai.
- Since 1995, Cyriac has been associated with several Malayalam Christian publications, including Veda Nadam and Life Vision (from 2010 onward). He has published two Malayalam translations—The Saving Life of Christ and The End of Religion. In 2025, a collection of his selected articles was published by Life Vision Literature.
- Cyriac also completed a two-year Bible program at Capernwray Harbour Bible Centre on Thetis Island, British Columbia, Canada.
- He is married to Dr. Hephzibah, a gynecologist. They have two teenage sons, Joses and Johan. Cyriac Joseph currently works with Canada Post, and the family resides in Brantford, Ontario.
